Class Description

Groove Together is a joy-filled prenatal and baby-wearing dance class for all bodies and all caregivers. Set to feel-good music, you'll groove, spiral, and flow through simple movements that strengthen your body and deepen your bond with your babe. No dance experience needed.

Cozy your baby up in a carrier, or wrap your pregnant belly in a rebozo or soft scarf, and find your groove with us! All are welcome.

Class Fee: $10-$20 sliding scale.

About the Teacher

Stella is a mother, birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, circle facilitator, community herbalist, and movement teacher (dance, yoga, and strength training). She is a deeply passionate parental health advocate who believes all humans navigating the perinatal period deserve to feel vital, connected, and supported.

Through rhythmic movement and breathwork, her classes invite you to attend to your physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. You'll build strength, soften where ease is needed, and connect more deeply with yourself and your baby. Stella teaches from the truth that we birth with our bodies, not our brains, and that movement is medicine: an underrated tool for pain relief, labor support, and postpartum healing.

Drawing on years of doula and childbirth education work, her studies of herbal medicine, yoga, dance, and holistic postpartum care, and her own journeys through pregnancy and birth, Stella holds space that is nourishing and deeply attuned. In a world that pushes people toward external sources of information, she guides people back to the deep well of wisdom they carry. You are the expert of your body, and Stella is here to help you remember it. Come move with your babe, prepare your body for birth, and find joy and vitality along the way.
