About the event
Let’s Dance! Senior Social Dance for Well-Being taught by Peggy LaCerra
Each participant in this course will become a respected member of our senior dance tribe. Following introductions, a brief warm up, and a review of safety guidelines, we’ll dance in a safe space (with or without the support of a helping hand, walker, or chair) to vibrant live music from the decades of our lives performed by one of Ojai’s best-loved musicians, Dianne Miller. We’ll sing along, hold hands, smile at one another, and learn about the importance of social dance, movement and music in lifting our mood, nurturing our bodies and minds, and cultivating vital social connections.
For ages 55+
Class Fee: $5/class
You can enroll in classes online at Ojai Rec Dept online registration site, over the phone at (805) 646-5581 ext. 390 or in person at Sarzotti Park, located at 510 Park Road Monday through Friday 8 am to 5:30 pm. Drop-Ins are also welcome!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE DANCE ARTS
You are supporting the continuation of our endeavors to bring more of the cultural dance arts to Ojai. Without the support of our community we would not be able to continue furthering our dance traditions and passing the joy and passions of dance from generation to generation.
