Join us for an evening presentation, conversation, and community gathering exploring the inspiring story of a village in India where families came together to create creative, grassroots solutions to educational challenges.
Learn about the Kalbeliya community, their culture and traditions, and how local learning centers are supporting children through education rooted in dignity, creativity, and community care. This event offers an opportunity to listen, learn, connect, and discover meaningful ways to support this important work.

Dance Ojai is honored to serve as the fiscal sponsor for the Kalbeliya Learning Centers initiative. Contributions shared during this event will directly support educational opportunities for children and families in the village.
Meet the Presenter
Christina Gomes, Learning Center Supporter
Christina, based in the USA, has worked alongside the Kalbeliya community for over a decade. She supports the centers through organization, communication, and connection to wider resources, helping strengthen their long-term sustainability while keeping them community-led.
